Eagle Dart Points and Accessories

Eagle Darts specializes in replacement points designed to improve grip in the dartboard. Simon and Dave created the company in Castleford, West Yorkshire, after deciding that players needed better point options and customer service. Today, Eagle dart points provide several grip levels, lengths and finishes for customized steel-tip setups.

The company began with three main point designs: Talon, Hawk and Vulture. Each pattern provides a different surface texture. Therefore, players can select the amount of board grip that works best for their darts and throwing style.

Eagle Dart Point Styles

The point design can affect how securely a dart remains in the board. However, very aggressive points may also cause unnecessary wear. Eagle aims to balance reliable board grip with practical removal after each throw.

Key features of Eagle Darts products include:

  • Talon, Hawk and Vulture grip patterns
  • Push-in points for standard steel-tip dart barrels
  • Screw-in points for compatible threaded systems
  • Flush-fit options that reduce the step between the point and barrel
  • Standard and extended point lengths
  • Silver, black, gold and rainbow finishes
  • Full-grip and partly gripped designs
  • Hybrid points with combined grip patterns
  • Custom and pre-machined point options
  • Steel-tip dart sets equipped with specialist points

Talon, Hawk and Vulture Points

Talon points feature a defined grip pattern that helps the dart hold firmly in the board. Meanwhile, Hawk points offer a different texture for players who want another balance between grip and release. Vulture points provide another distinct pattern within the signature collection.

All three styles come in several finishes and configurations. For example, players can choose traditional silver or black points. Gold and rainbow finishes also provide more color for customized dart sets.

Some versions extend the grip farther along the point. In addition, flush-fit models create a smoother transition into compatible barrels. This design may help incoming darts travel past the point and toward the scoring target.

Different Lengths and Point Systems

Changing point length can alter the dart’s overall balance and entry angle. A longer point may also create more space between grouped barrels. However, the best choice depends on the player’s grip, dart weight and throwing motion.

Eagle offers longer points in several lengths, subject to availability. Its range also includes push-in and screw-in designs. Therefore, players should confirm their barrel’s point system before ordering replacements.

A standard repointing tool installs conventional push-in points. Threaded models only fit barrels designed for their specific screw-in system. Correct installation helps protect both the point and barrel.

Customize Your Steel-Tip Darts

Replacing the factory points gives players another way to personalize their equipment. A new grip pattern can improve confidence on worn or firm boards. Likewise, a different finish can coordinate with the barrel, shaft and flight design.

Whether you need stronger board grip, a longer profile or a new visual style, Eagle dart points provide many options. Browse our available Eagle Darts products to find the right length, finish and grip for your setup.
